What a day, it was Beauty Angels first time as an exhibitor at the Designer Vintage Bridal Show at Birmingham Town Hall and we’d definitely recommend it!
Faced with the challenge of the snow, we made it there with mandatory flask of tea in hand (a girl has to be prepared) and the turnout was incredible. It may have been cold but the members of the public and brides to be were so warm and friendly. We also met some amazing suppliers with some really excellent services. Old gramophone tunes played throughout the day as well as live music and fashion shows. With an endless supply of cakes it didn’t matter what the weather was like outside we loved every minute of it.
The highlight for me was to create a vintage bridal makeover on my delightful model Katie, taking us back in time to the late 1950’s. I was fortunate to hook up with the ever amazing Sarah Willard Couture, who kindly loaned one of her beautiful handmade bridal gowns ‘Ella’ to complete the vintage bridal look, she looked a picture!
Watch the hair and make-up transformation and soak in that vintage atmosphere. Hope you likey, Keep Calm and Stay Warm girls! x
