Photo Shoot, Make-up and Hairstyling at Brampton Grange

I had the pleasure of being invited by Brampton Grange, Northamptonshire  to design and create wedding style hair and make-up for a commercial shoot.  I always love working on photo shoots and collaborating in a  creative team.

For the make-up, I pride myself in creating smooth flawless skin and in this case there was no exceptions.  I spend some time colour matching the foundation base to the correct under tone of the models skin.   My natural make-up style tends to be soft, well blended colours. I combined eyeshadow in varying shades of golds and pewter for a smouldering smokey effect, finished with false lashes.

Timeless beauty, perfect for your wedding day

A photo shoot always gives me the opportunity unleash my creativity, no restrictions just pure creativity (within reason for bridal work ). I enjoy hair styling and this shoot was screaming for me to create a more ‘avant-garde’ bridal up do.  Volume always looks good in photos, and my style of flowing feminine styling comes through every strong in this look, a bit like a walnut whip, woosh!!!  The neckline on the models wedding dress suits a up style for sure, and beautifully highlights her décolletage and elegant neck – I always take into consideration the overall look when designing hair. The whole picture has to work.
